Starting The Jet in eFalcon 1.09 - By Mark "Frugal" Bush This guide is aimed at those using the 1.09 cockpit switches to start the jet. I had a little difficulty initially navigating the cockpit to find the switches and so created this guide. This deviates from the manual slightly but works equally well and saves on a few view changes. I have included the keyboard presses for those that prefer to use them. Click on the images for larger versions. 1. Turn Main Fuel On. [SHIFT CTRL F7] (Figure 1) 2. Set Fuel Pumps to Normal. [SHIFT CTRL F5/F6] (Figure 1) Figure 1 3. Set Fuel Display To Norm. [SHIFT CTRL F1/F2] (Figure 2) Figure 2 4. Set Air Source To Norm. [SHIFT CTRL F3/F4] (Figure 3) Figure 3 5. Throttle To Idle (Pull Throttle Back) 6. JFS Start 2 [SHIFT J] (Figure 4) Figure 4 7. Wait For Engine RPM To Spool Above 20% (Figure 5) 8. Push Throttle Forward Then Select Idle Detent Switch [ALT i] Figure 5 9. Pull Throttle Back 10. Power On Radar Alt, FCR, Right & Left Hardpoints [CTRL a] [SHIFT ALT F5] [SHIFT ALT F8] [SHIFT ALT F9] (Figure 6) Figure 6 11. Power On HUD [SHIFT ALT F2] (Figure 5) 13. Disable Parking Brake [ALT p] (Figure 7) Figure 7 14. Enable Nose Wheel Steering [SHIFT /] (Figure 5) Your Jet is now ready to taxi to the runway. You should still have enough time to set your Bingo, ALOW and other preferences via the DED before requesting Taxi from the tower.
