BBall has updated his column with an article entitled "Roll Call 5...Capn Al" Here's a snippet:
We were on the third day of a four-day trip, and had started the day before sunrise at National Airport in Washington, D.C. After an uneventful flight up the coast to Boston, then an hour or so on the ground, we found ourselves headed to THE world’s busiest airport. This place can be such a “zoo” that to a new-hire airline pilot, the mere mention of its name can strike fear into the soul of even the most stout-hearted….”Chicago O’Hare”. This crazy mix of criss-crossing parallel runways that sits on the windswept shores of Lake Michigan, can be quite a treat for someone that’s never actually piloted an airplane into (or out of) there.
