IG and the source code The exe edits performed by the F4UT were authorized by G2 Interactive under a copyright agreement with the participants.
There are no more exe edits authorized after SP3. We are too deep in changes to the OIR exe to incorporate any additional third party code changes. It would create incompatability between SP4 and OIR and we pledged to support the F4UT enhancements.
There will be a new graphics engine for OIR.

First of all, reports of our death have been greatly exaggerated. We have been working for about a year now, and we have made great progress. At this point, we have aircraft flying, missiles and guns firing, bombs dropping and planes being destroyed in the sim. The campaign has an integrated air-land battle going on, including fully developed strike packages with SEAD, escort, strike, ECM and recon flights included.
ATI has released an updated set of Catalyst 3.0 drivers that are now WHQL certified. It looks like a worthwhile download as some fixes for OpenGL have also been incorporated, including hopefully a fix for the stuttering issues!

The latest software for the Thrustmaster Cougar has been released. Version 2.03 incorporates an improved installer to help those who have been having trouble getting the 2.02 software to install.
The firmware and other software in the package are identical to the 2.02 package, so if you have downloaded and successfully installed it, it is not necessary to download it again.
